About Timpano

Timpano Las Olas has been a Fort Lauderdale staple since 1999. The reimagined Timpano pairs Old Hollywood glamour with art deco and tropical touches. Its modern Italian menu is built on craft and scratch cooking, including an in-house bakery and pastry program and handmade pasta. Along with the dining room, Timpano has a lively bar and lounge, a daily happy hour and several private and group dining spaces for celebrations and corporate events.

Timpano is part of Tavistock Restaurant Collection, a group of chef-driven concepts across South and Central Florida, Boston, Las Vegas and Atlanta.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a hospitality-driven General Manager to lead Timpano into its next chapter. You'll own the guest experience, the team and the business results of one of Las Olas Boulevard's best-known restaurants. You'll work closely with the Executive Chef and Tavistock Restaurant Collection leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead the team: recruit, train, develop and keep strong front-of-house managers and hourly staff.
• Deliver polished, personal hospitality: set a high bar for service in the dining room, bar and lounge, and private dining.
• Partner with the kitchen: work with the Executive Chef to run a seamless, scratch-driven Italian program.
• Own the numbers: P&L performance, including sales, labor, cost of goods, budgets and forecasts.
• Grow the business: build private and group dining, local partnerships and repeat guests on Las Olas.
• Run the beverage program: wine, cocktails and happy hour performance, ordering and inventory.
• Maintain standards: compliance, safety, sanitation and responsible alcohol service.
• Shape the culture: build a team that is accountable, recognized and proud to work together.

Requirements

What You Bring

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience, including 2+ years as a General Manager or senior AGM in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining restaurant.
• A proven record of building and developing teams and improving guest satisfaction.
• Strong financial skills: P&L management, budgeting, labor and cost controls.
• Solid wine and beverage knowledge; Italian wine experience is a plus.
• Private dining and events experience preferred.
• Hands-on, visible leadership on the floor during service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food Manager and responsible alcohol service certifications, or the ability to obtain them.
