Asset InterTech (AIT) is seeking a hands on, decisive General Manager to lead the next phase of the business and reestablish momentum.
AIT develops ScanWorks and SourcePoint—highly regarded hardware and software platforms used by engineers across defense & aerospace, semiconductor, and contract electronics manufacturing to test, debug, and validate complex electronic systems using IEEE JTAG/Boundary Scan standards.
AIT’s products are well respected in the market with a loyal customer base. Following a period of leadership transition, the business now requires a focused, energetic leader to reset direction, rebuild the go to market engine, and fully realize its significant potential.
The General Manager will be expected to rapidly develop deep fluency in the business—its products, customers, and competitive landscape—and translate that understanding into a clear strategy and disciplined execution plan. This role will re engage directly with customers, rebuild sales and marketing capability, support product modernization, and strengthen the team. The position carries full P&L ownership and accountability for results.
AIT is headquartered in Plano, Texas. While the role may be performed remotely, it will require regular travel to Plano and to key customers, particularly in the early months, to establish strong relationships and build deep operational and commercial understanding of the business.

Sales & Marketing
Sales is a top priority for improvement. The General Manager will lead a disciplined rebuild of AIT’s go‑to‑market capability, installing structure, accountability, and momentum.
Re‑establish direct relationships with key customers and prospects, particularly early in the role, to strengthen presence and understand evolving needs.
Assess, coach, and reshape the sales team as needed to build a high‑performing organization.

Define, track, and act on customer care metrics including satisfaction scores, ticket throughput, resolution time, and program usage.
Product & Software Development
AIT’s products are well regarded and supported by an experienced team; however, product modernization is a strategic priority.
Partner with the product team to define and communicate a clear, business driven modernization roadmap.
Ensure strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, and QA around clearly prioritized roadmaps.
