Job Description

We’re looking for a General Manager to lead a community grounded in care, connection, and respect — someone who brings people together, builds strong teams, and keeps residents at the centre of every decision.

About the role

This is a key leadership position where you’ll guide a committed team to deliver high-quality care and meaningful daily experiences for our residents.

You’ll oversee the clinical, operational and financial performance of the care centre, with a strong focus on:

  • Supporting your team to thrive and perform at their best

  • Creating a warm, resident-first culture where people feel valued and safe

  • Ensuring care reflects best practice and Oceania’s model of care

  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community

  • Driving sustainable occupancy and performance outcomes

You’ll be supported by an experienced Clinical Manager on site, along with regional clinical leadership, so you can focus on leading people and shaping a high-performing, caring environment.

What you’ll bring

You’re a capable and compassionate leader who knows how to bring out the best in others. You’ll likely have:

  • Experience leading teams in aged care or healthcare

  • A track record of building strong, engaged teams and achieving results

  • Confidence managing operational and financial performance

  • The ability to balance commercial outcomes with genuine care

  • Strong relationship-building skills with residents, families and staff

  • A calm, solutions-focused approach

A clinical background is valued, but just as important is your commitment to quality care and continuous improvement.
