Job Description

For a well-established organization operating in the insurance and professional education sector.

Role based in Athens, Greece.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the organization’s overall operations, ensuring effective governance, sustainability, and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to strengthen the organization’s institutional presence and long-term growth
  • Oversee the development and delivery of professional education programs, certifications, and training initiatives aligned with the needs of the insurance market
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, academic institutions, and professional bodies
  • Ensure the effective management of financial resources, including budgeting, cost control, and identification of new funding opportunities
  • Monitor industry developments and market trends to identify opportunities for new initiatives and services.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the organization’s team, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Represent the organization in industry forums, institutional meetings, and professional events
  • Present operational and strategic updates to the Board of Directors and relevant stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as General Manager, Managing Director, or equivalent executive position
  • Previous experience within the insurance sector, professional education, or a related institutional environment will be considered a strong asset
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to drive organizational development and operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of the insurance market and industry dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Fluency in Greek and English is required
