At Andy Frain Services, we don’t just manage venues—we create world-class experiences. From the roar of a stadium to high-traffic commercial hubs, our team is the backbone of safety and service.
We are looking for a General Manager who is more than just an administrator. We need a strategic visionary, a relationship builder, and a "cool under pressure" leader to head our operations in the Tuscaloosa area. If you have a passion for the energy of live events and the grit to lead a large-scale team to excellence, we want to talk to you.
As General Manager, you are the leader of your market. You’ll own the strategy that drives business growth, ensures client "wow" moments, and maintains the highest standards of operational integrity. You aren't just filling schedules; you are building a culture of dignity, respect, and elite performance.
Your Core Priorities:
Strategic Growth: Scout new business opportunities and expand our footprint while keeping current clients thrilled.
Operational Excellence: Lead the charge on everything from venue best practices to workplace safety, ensuring every event runs like clockwork.
People Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of Account Managers and Supervisors. You’ll be responsible for the "full lifecycle" of our talent—from the first interview to the final promotion.
Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, analyze performance indicators, and drive the branch toward its long-term goals.
We operate where the action is. We believe in treating every associate with dignity and every client with "stellar" service. This isn't just a job behind a desk; it’s an opportunity to influence the safety and enjoyment of thousands of fans and customers.
"Our people are our greatest asset. As GM, you are the guardian of that asset."
Environment: A mix of a professional office setting and the high-energy environment of our client venues.
Travel: Required as needed to ensure our operations are meeting the "Andy Frain" standard.
Inclusion: We are an equal opportunity employer. We value your unique background, your ethics, and your drive—not just your resume.
Qualifications
You’re a seasoned pro who understands that in the world of Stadium and Venue operations, no two days are the same.
Experience: You’ve spent 5–7 years climbing the ranks in Sports & Entertainment or Venue Management. A Bachelor’s degree is required to help you navigate the complexity of this role.
Industry Edge: You know industry best practices like the back of your hand. If you’re a member of IAVM or NCS4, you’re already ahead of the pack.
Leadership Style: You’re "hands-on" and results-oriented. You don’t just delegate; you facilitate progressive change and lead by example.
Communication: You can negotiate a high-stakes contract in the boardroom and then pivot to coaching a frontline supervisor on the concourse.
