We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to spearhead all operations at our new boutique luxury beachfront property in Turks and Caicos. This hands-on leader will build and lead a high-performing multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and world-class European plan service standards. Reporting to the owners, the GM will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel management from pre-opening through launch and beyond. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record managing luxury resort properties in remote island or boutique settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop service concepts and implement operating procedures to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Recruit, train, develop, and lead a talented team across all departments
- Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations including F&B, rooms, facilities, and revenue management
- Achieve annual budget targets through strategic revenue and expense management
- Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to support operations
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to department heads
- Continually enhance the guest experience through innovative programming and attention to detail
- Comply with all legal, regulatory, safety and brand standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager for a luxury resort/hotel
- Hands-on leadership experience managing all departments of a high-end boutique or luxury hotel
- Must have remote island experience (mandatory)
- Demonstrated success in opening or repositioning a property to achieve strong performance metrics
- Hospitality or Business degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in European plan operations
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and motivational leadership skills
- Fluent in English with additional languages a strong plus
- Willingness to be based long-term in beautiful Turks and Caicos
