The general maintenance technician performs routine facility upkeep and minor repair tasks to maintain building condition and appearance.
Functional responsibilities:
- Execute, track, and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to include HVAC, Plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment
- Wall patching and painting
- Minor drywall repair
- Caulking and sealing
- Door hardware and door jamb
- Ceiling tile replacement
- Minor carpentry
- Basic plumbing fixture adjustments (non-licensed scope)
- Minor electrical fixture replacement (within licensed capability)
- Supervise external contractors for specialized services
- Routine building upkeep tasks
This position does not have responsibility for structural repairs, renovations, capital improvements, or code-driven upgrades.

Qualifications
- Basic experience in facility maintenance, including minor repairs and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in MEP, system monitoring (BAS)
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety and equipment operations.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
