LOCATION: Belfast

CONTRACT: Full-time/Permanent

HOURS: 40 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday

SALARY: Competitive

& PURPOSE:

The General Maintenance Operative is responsible for undertaking a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of the premises. You will work as part of a team to carry out planned and reactive maintenance duties, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance tasks including repairs to building fabric, plumbing, electrical systems, and heating.
• Assist with preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Record and report all maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and colleagues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting skills.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.
