RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the maintenance duties, and procedures, including, but not limited to completing preventative maintenance in the guestrooms, repairing small maintenance issues, trash pickup, and unloading and storing deliveries. All associates must be professional and hospitable at all times and maintain a professional appearance.
Setting up for Banquet Events
Moving Tables and Chairs
Must be able to lift 50 + lbs.
Performs daily duties including preventive maintenance.
Inspects and cleans up in rooms after working in them and ensures they are to Company standards.
Ensures maintenance room is organized, neat, and clean.
Ensures maintenance equipment is properly functioning and maintained
Ensures that all regular maintenance items are completed and properly recorded (filters, drum drips, hot water heaters).
Ensures that all non-functioning items are properly identified repaired and returned to service timely or are disposed of properly.
Ensures grounds, pool, and structure are properly maintained.
Ensures every room possible is made available for rental by the end of each day.
Ensures exterior building and grounds are clean
Clears trash and empties property trash containers daily.
Sweeps and cleans sidewalks and stairs as needed. (Trash and weather related). Clears debris from parking lot, landscaping, and dumpster area daily.
Paints walls, ceilings, doors and window trim as needed.
Provides Preventive Maintenance on guest rooms daily
Ensures Preventive Maintenance repairs in the following areas:
Lighting
Plumbing
Guest Room Walls
Doors and Locks
Carpet
Electrical Circuits and Wiring
HVAC
Appliances
Furniture
Floor Coverings
Ensures Guest Laundry washers, dryers, vending machines and common areas are cleaned twice daily.
Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor. Reports substandard (unsafe) conditions to supervisors.
Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
Adheres to all policies and procedures.
