As a GL Accountant, you will be part of a team of over 30 professionals executing Record to Report processes for 70+ entities across the Embla Medical world. This role plays a key part in maintaining high-quality financial reporting within the organization.
This position involves a broad range of accounting activities that ensure the accuracy of our financial records. Main responsibilities include posting manual journal entries such as accruals, reclassifications, and prepayments, as well as entries related to taxes and salaries. Intercompany transactions are recorded and reconciled to ensure consistency across group entities. You will also maintain fixed asset registers, process additions and disposals, and calculate depreciation.
An important part of your role will be regular balance sheet accounts reconciliation and review of profit and loss accounts to verify the accuracy and completeness of recorded entries.
These activities support month-end closings, where meeting deadlines and ensuring data accuracy are essential.

Reporting financial statements to the Consolidation and Reporting Team using dedicated software
Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Maintaining process documentation and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborating with internal stakeholders across Europe, Africa, APAC, and the Americas
What do you need to be successful with the role:
You have at least a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, economics, or related.
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar position (preferably in SSC).
You have knowledge of accounting.
You have good/communicative command of both English and Polish (written and spoken).
You can easily play with MS Office (specifically Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
You are eager to learn new things and ready to take on challenges.
