Who You Are:

This is a great opportunity for entry level applicants. You are a hands-on person, keen to assist our Team Lead’s to achieve targets. You are safety-conscious and have some basic experience working in the field. As the role requires manual handling and outdoor fieldwork, you will need to be physically fit and willing to travel as required within the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast region.

Role Purpose: WV Technologies is seeking labourers to support legacy network infrastructure projects. This field role involves working across large-scale underground telecommunications networks, focusing on scoping, identification, and compliance activities.

Success in this role you will see:

  • Safe and efficient recovery of copper cables while ensuring minimal disruption to the Telstra and NBN networks
  • Supporting the safe and efficient achievement of daily work targets
  • Any other duties as seen fit by the employer for you to fulfil your role.

General duties:

  • Contribute to overall company vision and strategy
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects
  • Comply with all HSEQ company process and policy
  • Work with a range of individuals from skilled workers to disadvantaged individuals

  • Strong attention to safety

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small crew within a field environment
  • Good communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Full Work Rights in Australia
  • Current Australia’s Driver License
  • Your own reliable transport to get to site.
  • White Card
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Pre-employment medical (may be required)
