General Labourer

Maskinongé, QC

Onsite- Permanent Fulltime

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the General labour packs, ties, labels, counts and identifies wood using various handling equipment.

Main duties

• Operate wood handling equipment on the stacking line.
• Tie, wrap and occasionally stack wood by hand.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
• Comply with all workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Respect customer service commitments.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Able to count and identify wood products of various sizes.
• Basic maths skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms.
• Must have own steel-toed boots.

Education

• High school diploma is an asset
