We are currently seeking a Full-Time General Labour Worker to join our team based out of our Richmond, BC location.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: 5 days between Sunday to Friday (days off will be Saturday, and one weekday)
Shift: Sunday will be 8:00am-4:30pm, Weekdays will be 10:00am-6:30pm
Salary: $18.85/hour (paid on weekly basis!)
Types of Duties and Responsibilities:
Lift crates and cases of vegetables,
Able to lift up to 55lbs,
Dump vegetables onto conveyor belt,
Perform work in cooler environment,
Perform heavy lifting as needed,
Adhere to WorkSafe and food safe guidelines,
Follow GMP practices,
Communicate quality issues,
Work in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Reliable means of transportation to start work on time
Legal right to work full-time in the given jurisdiction
Good English speaking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds consistently
Accountable and dependable
Open to work in a changing work environment and able to multi-task
Flexibility in working schedule (Weekend and Holidays as required)
Experience in food manufacturing procedures is an asset
