Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Grande Prairie office is actively hiring a General Labour Summer Student to join the team. This position reports to the area Supervisor in the BC-AB Gathering Operations / Maintenance area as part of Pembina’s Transmission Pipeline Business Unit (TBU) / Alliance Pipeline system in the Operations Division. Pembina’s Alliance Pipeline transports rich natural gas from Western Canada to the Chicago area.
Pembina's Transmission Pipeline assets have developed through the strategic acquisition of key natural gas, ethane and condensate transportation infrastructure assets, positioned in some of the most prolific gas producing regions in western Canada and the United States. Pembina's Transmission Pipelines provide customers with access to premium markets primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts through long-haul pipelines
The General Labour role will support maintenance activities at field site locations, and the GP office-warehouse-shop. It will also support field tradesmen – maintenance staff as required at field site locations. Regular schedule is Monday to Thursday 7 AM - 5 PM.
Please note that this is a 4-month term, and the successful candidate must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie

This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and requires Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites.
You will also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 03/10/2026. In rare circumstances, a position may be posted for less time if there has been significant interest in the role.
