General Laborer (Los Gatos)

Essel is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated General Laborers to join our team in Los Gatos. As a General Laborer, you will support various construction and landscaping projects by performing essential physical tasks that contribute to the successful completion of each job. This position requires a strong work ethic, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Preparation: Prepare and maintain work sites by cleaning, removing debris, and organizing tools and equipment.
• Material Handling: Load and unload tools and construction materials, ensuring proper distribution and storage.
• Assisting Skilled Workers: Work alongside skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, assisting with tasks as needed.
• Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery when required, following safety protocols.
• General Cleanup: Perform routine site cleanup tasks, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety regulations and instructions from supervisors, maintaining a focus on workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Teamwork Skills: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and follow directions.
• Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
