Prairie Ridge Transfer Station, a Waste Connections company, is hiring a dependable and safety-minded General Laborer to support daily operations in Bonney Lake, WA.
This is a full-time, year-round role for someone who enjoys hands-on work, likes being outdoors, and takes pride in getting the job done right while serving their local community.
This position is a key part of keeping the site running safely and efficiently. You will be working on a small team, so being reliable, showing up ready to work, and being able to handle responsibilities without constant supervision is important. The role also involves working directly with customers, so being able to give clear directions, stay professional, and provide a good experience while enforcing site rules is a key part of the job.
Prairie Ridge is a household waste transfer station that also handles yard waste and recycling. This is a drop-box, hand-unload site, meaning customers unload their own materials, and trailers cannot be tipped or dumped. The site primarily serves residential customers, and employees are highly visible on-site, playing an important role in keeping operations safe, organized, and running smoothly for the community.
