ASRC Federal Advanced Research is seeking full-time temporary General Laborer’s in Camp Grayling, MI for a period of 6-8 weeks. Considering the state of the world today, military technical innovation is critical to defending our territories and those of our allies. The US Army is currently exploring the advancement to equip ground combat forces with low-cost scalable one-way attack (OWA) small unmanned aerial systems. This effort presents a unique opportunity for civilians to participate in the research and development efforts that will shape future battlefield platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Assist skilled trades personnel, technicians, mechanics, and engineers with daily operational activities.
• Provide transportation services driving a variety of vehicles, including light trucks, medium trucks, heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, off-road utility vehicles, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Support assembly, disassembly, cleaning, packaging, and transportation of military systems, components, and equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as authorized.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including inspection and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Follow technical instructions, work orders, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Support vehicle maintenance, fabrication, integration, or prototype activities as required.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, and material discrepancies to supervision.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education:
• Possess the following qualifications: a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, extensive experience in assisting duties and interacting with shop personnel.
• This position shall require a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Requirements:
• Capable of standing all day and lifting 45 lbs.
