Job Description

Location: Ishpeming, MI

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings forGeneral Laborers in the Mining Operations department at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan.

of Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as Front-End Loader, Bulldozer, Production Truck, and Grader

• Tend to crusher and conveyor systems

• Perform general laborer duties such as shoveling and cleaning

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals

• Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace

• Excellent attendance record

• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays

• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts

• Must be flexible with work assignments; will assist other departments as needed and required

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
