Job Description

Location: | Cuyahoga Falls, OH| 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP)

Mach3 Machine is a large precision machining company and a 100% employee-owned organization. We are currently seeking a General Laborer to support shop operations through material handling, shipping/receiving support, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

This is an entry-level, hands-on opportunity for a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and an interest in building a long-term career in manufacturing.

Essential Functions:

· Keep work areas and the manufactuing plant clean and organized.

· Contributes to team effort by collaborating and supporting the team on projects.

· Regularly loads and unloads trucks with parts and materials.

· Assist with general building maintenance and upkeep.

· Support team members and contribute to overall shop efficiency.

· Deliver and pick up parts from suppliers or other shops when required.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, required.

Ability to read and follow instructions.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with attention to detail.

Continual learner: takes time to observe and learn new skills as time allows.

Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires physical capability which includes standing most of the time, some lifting to 25 to 50 pounds, and pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching as needed.

Standard shift is ten hours per day, with steel-toe boots and safety glasses required

Working Environment:

Manufacturing environment / Machine Shop

The facility does not have air conditioning

Certifications

Alloy Engineering is a certified ASME Code Section I and Section VIII, Division I fabrication shop. Our welders are Certified AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX. Our staff includes two certified AWS-CWI inspectors, one AWS-SCWI inspector and two AWS-CWS supervisors. Several members of our Quality Assurance Department are also certified in various NDT (nondestructive testing) processes per ASNT SNT TC-1a.

With these certifications, Alloy Engineering can develop all necessary or required weld procedures, depending on the application, to produce the highest quality welded, fabricated product and certify 100% compliance.
