General Purpose:
The Plant Sanitation Technician is responsible for plant sanitation working with Operations Technician to accomplish overall cleanest within the plant. Working with QA Lab Technician and Quality Assurance Supervisor on the master sanitation plan for the plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Clean all drains- drain program (black color code only)
§ Clean and sanitize all garbage cans
§ Sanitize all doorknobs and upper handrails in the plant
§ Handle all garbage to the dumpster
§ Clean around the dumpster (new outside water line needs to be installed, so they can wash down underneath / reduce flies)
§ Clean and sanitize – outside wall fixtures / ledges at all levels
§ Vacuum cleaner sanitation- these need to be numbered
§ Insecticutors, glue boards, insect trays- clean and inspect
§ All mop heads being rotated
§ Vacuum the supports of the grating at the various levels of both dryer systems
§ Other duties as assigned
