Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be willing to work throughout the facility and assist multiple departments based on daily production needs.
  • Provide general support to production employees and supervisors throughout the facility.
  • Assist with moving, staging, organizing, and delivering materials, tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Keep production areas clean, organized, and free of unnecessary materials and debris.
  • Assist employees with housekeeping activities, including sweeping, picking up materials, and maintaining work areas.
  • Help maintain clear aisles, walkways, workstations, and designated storage areas.
  • Retrieve tools, materials, parts, and supplies needed by production employees during hole watching.
  • Helps assisting hand welders and fabricators when working inside the tank.
  • Help identify and report safety hazards, damaged equipment, spills, or unsafe conditions.
  • Follow all required safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
  • Help maintain organization of common-use areas and production supplies.
  • Assist with special projects, facility needs, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with production employees regarding work priorities and needs.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and demonstrate a willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of employees and departments.
  • Strong attention to safety and housekeeping.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing production needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform passivation processes on stainless steel and other metal components to improve corrosion resistance and surface integrity.
  • Prepare, clean, and inspect parts prior to and following passivation treatment.
  • Operate and monitor passivation equipment, chemical baths, and associated processing systems in accordance with established procedures.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

  • Basic hand tools

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work will in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.
  • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
  • Must have a basic understanding of computers.
  • Must have reading, writing and simple math skills.
  • Good communication skills.
