Job Description

We are seeking reliable General Laborers to support an industrial shutdown project in New Caney, TX Laborers will assist maintenance and construction crews with general site duties, material handling, cleanup, and other tasks to help keep the shutdown running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades and maintenance crews with daily jobsite activities.
• Load, unload, move, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
• Perform general cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down work areas.
• Handle basic hand tools and equipment as directed.
• Assist with material staging and jobsite preparation.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.
• Support crews with housekeeping, debris removal, and general labor duties.
• Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or jobsite hazards to supervision.
• Work extended hours, weekends, and varying shifts as required during the shutdown.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial, construction, refinery, or shutdown experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Must be able to work outdoors and in industrial environments.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be safety-conscious and willing to follow all site requirements.
• OSHA or site-specific safety training is a plus.
