Unload inbound customer loads, sort materials

Essential Functions

1. Unload retail customer vehicles
2. Inspect inbound material loads
3. Fill out inspection load tickets
4. Maintain and clean loading area
5. Sort material loads
6. Load and unload can crusher
7. Operate retail buying program

Requirements

Job Requirements/Skills

1. Reading and writing skills
2. Basic math skills
3. Excellent communication skills

Education/Experience

1. Forklift or bobcat experience
2. Non-ferrous and Ferrous handling

Physical Requirements

1. Able to walk, sit, stand, or stoop for long periods of time
2. Able to lift 50 lbs. multiple times during an approximately 8 hour shift
3. Good hearing and dexterity
4. Exposure to physical operations in the scrap recycling and facilities, including walking in active industrial yards with uneven surfaces, occasionally in inclement weather
