Job Description

We are seeking a general helper/ food service worker for our Vaughan location. Shifts will be Mon - Fri from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, free parking on site.

Job Responsibilities

• Service: Take orders, serve meals, cash out customers.
• Food Prep: Chop vegetables, measure ingredients, help assemble simple dishes, run the deli station
• Cleaning: Wash dishes, pots, and utensils, and wipe down counters.
• Stock fridges, put away food orders
• Safety: Follow basic food safety and sanitation rules.
• Will be trained on using deep fryers/ grill etc.

Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: You must be able to stand for 8+ hours, lift heavy boxes (20 - 35 lbs), and work in hot or fast-paced environments.
• Basic Literacy & Math: You need to read recipe cards, understand safety labels, and handle cash or point-of-sale (POS) machines accurately.
• Communication Skills: Clear spoken English is necessary to take customer orders accurately and communicate with the kitchen team.
• Speed and Urgency: The ability to work quickly during busy rush hours without losing focus.
• Reliability: Arriving on time for shifts.
• Coachability: A willingness to learn new kitchen procedures and accept feedback
