Job Description

Sodexo, Australia’s leading provider of integrated services to the energy and resources sector, is seeking an experienced and motivated Gym Equipment Service Technician to join our team.

This FIFO role is responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial fitness equipment across remote site facilities. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and exceptional service delivery for our clients.

This position operates on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial fitness and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer standards.
  • Troubleshoot faults and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Accurately complete work orders, maintenance records, and service reports.
  • Provide clients and site personnel with guidance on the correct use and care of equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with site teams while also managing tasks independently.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience servicing and maintaining gym or electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize workloads and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance

Qualifications

  • Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
  • White Card
  • Full WA Driver’s Licence
  • Australian Citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights
  • The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
