Manages Division 7 crew members to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth. Oversees and coordinates all Division 7 operations across multiple crews, ensuring seamless execution of waterproofing, insulation, firestopping and building envelope installations to meet project milestones and quality benchmarks. Leads strategic collaboration with project management, site supervision, and other trade foremen to align Division 7 activities with master construction schedules and organizational objectives, proactively addressing cross-functional challenges. Provides high-level direction and technical guidance to Division 7 foremen and crews, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity targets across all assigned projects. Drives continuous improvement in crew performance by implementing advanced training in Division 7 systems and leading practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads, manages, and develops a crew of Division 7 workers to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
Oversees operations and execution of multiple Division 7 crews in the installation and assembly of waterproofing, insulation, firestopping and building envelope systems, ensuring all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Evaluates the progress of Division 7 activities across multiple work areas, providing advanced technical direction to resolve complex on-site challenges related to materials, application methods, and system integration.
Synchronizes all Division 7 operations with project management, multiple trade partners, and subcontractors by leading coordination meetings, disseminating critical technical updates, and strategically adjusting Division 7 work plans to align with changing project requirements and overall construction schedules.
Directs and optimizes site preparation for Division 7 operations by overseeing material logistics, equipment allocation, and task sequencing across multiple crews to ensure seamless workflow, minimize project delays, and maximize overall productivity.
Oversees the review and validation of comprehensive project documentation to ensure all Division 7 activities are executed in alignment with project plans, while ensuring material utilization adheres to company standards and operational protocols.
Accurately completes and submits time cards for assigned crews, ensuring timely and precise recording of labor hours in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
7 years of experience in Division 7 construction required.
1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
