We are now looking for a new Financial Systems Senior Analyst to join our financial systems team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania!

The successful candidate will be providing analysis of plans and results, contributing to annual and monthly forecasting processes, modeling business outcomes, and providing business decision support, as well as other tasks critical to serving as a business partner to Vertiv operations. The ideal candidate is detail focused, collaborative, and regularly displays an inquisitiveness that craves continuous learning and drives continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and system, including FDMEE support. Activities include user access reviews, system security analysis, end-user support, and adding new FDMEE locations.
• Support and maintain Blackline accounting and finance tool. Activities include user access review, system security analysis, maintaining Periods and Currencies, and end-user support.
• Support and maintain Vertiv’s Essbase revenue module. Activities include reconciliation of data from (HFM) and Actual/Forecast/Budget data loads, maintaining version copies and updating sub variables. Maintaining Calc Scripts and updating the outline as necessary.
• Support and maintain Vertiv’s Essbase Workforce Costing Tool. Activities include data migration, data reconciliation, and standardized report building.
• Cross functional collaboration between accounting and finance departments across multiple business units worldwide. Activities include data analysis and Adhoc report creation.
• Support the HFM to EPM integration, and assist with management of all apps within EPM(FCC, Workforce Planning, Planning)
• Other related duties which may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s required
• 5+ years of finance or accounting or previous financial system administration experience
• Strong analytical skills, including ability to think about complex issues using scientific/critical thinking approach to solve problems and make sound judgments
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to discern from available data what should be pertinent to upper levels of management
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization, from the C-Suite to the shop floor.
• Profoundly inquisitive with the desire to consistently exceed expectations
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
• Experience Oracle or another ERP system a plus
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, EPM and SmartView also a plus
• Experience with SQL, VBA, or any other coding language a plus
