About this role

We seek a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for Spring and Summer 2024. The Carrier Co-op experience offers co-ops an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Refrigeration system and component - design and qualification

• Vapor compression cycle – Component and system integration

• Transport refrigeration system – business and application

• Developing hands-on skill set working in the lab

• Data analysis from qualification test and unit test in the lab

• System integration test with actual unit, data review, and report out

• Maintain and update the life test unit and work with technicians and engineers for any unit modification.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field

• 3.0 or higher GPA

• Must be eligible to work in the USwithout sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant coursework or previous internships are preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Self-driven and proactive

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
