General Dentist – Raio Dental Hempstead

Location: Raio Dental | Hempstead, NY

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $800–$1,000 Daily Guarantee | 33% Adjusted Net Production

Patient Mix: PPO & Medicaid

Required: Medicaid experience and Spanish fluency

About the Opportunity

Raio Dental Hempstead is seeking an experienced, Spanish-speaking General Dentist to join our established practice. We are looking for a provider who is confident delivering comprehensive general dentistry and communicating effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.

Previous Medicaid experience and Spanish fluency are required for this location. Candidates should be comfortable with the pace, documentation, treatment planning, and patient needs associated with a practice serving both Medicaid and PPO populations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Provide restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, and bridges
• Perform extractions and endodontic treatment based on experience and clinical comfort
• Provide emergency dental care
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and recommended care in English and Spanish
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, specialists, and practice leadership
• Maintain efficient patient flow while providing quality, patient-centered care

What We’re Looking For

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active New York dental license in good standing
• Previous Medicaid experience required
• Spanish fluency required
• Strong comprehensive general dentistry skills
• Confidence treatment planning for a diverse patient population
• Strong patient communication and case-presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within an established clinical team

Compensation

We offer a competitive daily guarantee of $800–$1,000 during the initial ramp-up period, based on experience. Providers are compensated at 33% of adjusted net production when production-based compensation exceeds the daily guarantee.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active Dental License in New York
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
• DEA Registration (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience practicing in Medicaid environments

• Invisalign® Certification
• Implant Restoration Experience
• Implant Placement Experience
• Experience with comprehensive treatment planning
• Cosmetic dentistry experience
• Endodontic experience
• Oral surgery experience
