Join Our TeamWe are a well-established rubber manufacturing company in Warwick, NY seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping financial records organized, and being part of a stable, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • What You’ll Do

    • Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks
    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
    • Prepare invoices, payments, and deposits
    • Maintain accurate vendor and customer records
    • Assist with payroll coordination and reporting
    • Track expenses and maintain proper financial documentation
    • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
    • Generate reports for management as needed
    • Help maintain organized digital and physical financial records

Qualifications

  • What We’re Looking For

    • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
    • Proficiency with QuickBooks
    • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
    • Basic understanding of accounting principles
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality

    Preferred (But Not Required)

    • Experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Familiarity with inventory or cost tracking
    • Accounting-related education or training
