Responsibilities:
Africana Studies seeks a dependable individual to provide administrative support to the Department Chair, faculty and courses.
Position is Contingent I/temporary working between 20-40 hours per week. Ideally the position will work at least three days per week (if part-time). Hours will be during core business hours Monday-Friday. Flexible schedule may be available.
Possible hybrid work schedule may be available after training.
The General Assistant will provide day to day administrative support for the department. Duties may include:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree.
Note: Four years of related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Salary:
Hourly Salary Range: Minimum: $22.00 to Maximum: $24.04, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
