What we are looking for
We are looking for a General Accounting Specialist to join our Finance Division at our Corporate Headquarters in Milan. In this role, you will support the management of General Accounting activities for the Group Holding, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting and tax requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, foreign affiliates, the Shared Service Center and external partners, contributing to month-end closing, intercompany processes, reconciliations and audit activities. You will also play an active role in Finance Transformation initiatives, supporting process improvements, automation and the implementation of new solutions across the Group.
Key Responsabilities
Support the responsible in managing the General Accounting task in the Group Holding such as:
Manage ICO process within the Group, determining amounts to be recharged, ensuring proper booking through Intercompany Orchestrator and ensuring respect of the due dates with particular reference to the “One Procurement” process (i.e. Centralized management of direct procurement through a triangulation model)
Month-end activities including reconciliations, account variation analysis (analysis of any purchase and invoice price variance) accruals, currency revaluation and journal entries while maintaining a continual accounting mindset to ensure timely processing of financial transactions throughout the month;
IT in monitoring EDI flows and timely detecting eventual issues;
Reconciliation of the Transfer Price Policy application between corporate and the local branch, in coordination with Global tax Department;
Reconciliation of profit in stock for the Group in coordination with Global Consolidation Team;
Support the management of tax obligations and related reporting;
Support the Manager in coordinating and monitoring activities performed by the Shared Service Center, including supplier statement reconciliations, overdue items follow-up, and payment request management.
Other Responsibilities
Support the Manager and The Finance Transformation Team in testing new solutions and/or integrating new countries in the One procurement Model;
Identify, communicate, and contribute to transformation program suggesting improvements in administrative-financial tasks, implementation of automated processes and test new solution within Oracle;
Contribute to the integration of new acquisitions, through the design, test and implementation of new solutions and related monitoring controls;
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures ensuring compliance with Law 262/2005;
Support internal and external audits by providing audit schedules, support and responding to inquiries;
Support the responsible in preparing the documentation for the Board of Statutory auditors;

Required Skills & Experience
Professional Experience
3+ years of financial accounting experience in Multinational Companies
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or other product-based multinational organizations is preferred;
Educational Background in Accounting;
Good business English to interact with foreign affiliates;
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus;
Knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not required

Contract Type Permanent – Full Time
The reference Gross Annual Salary is approximately in the range of €34.500 - €47.000 The actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and specific skills and knowledge and also to the educational background.
The position is also eligible for an annual Company bonus (‘premio di risultato’) linked to business performance, in line with Company policies.
