Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system and manual Books of Accounts
• Handles preparation of journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
• Prepares Lapsing Schedule of Fixed Assets
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
• Handles the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records and supporting documents
• Assists in preparing payroll and employees’ commission.
• Handles monthly remittances of government mandated benefits.
• Assist in tax compliance and preparation of required reports (e.g., VAT, withholding tax)
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and schedules
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy or Finance
• Strong background experience in AP, AR, General and Taxation
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (ex: eFPS, loose-leaf) and accounting systems (ex: QB)
• With experience of knowledge in Book of Accounts
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Good communication and written skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (knowledgeable in v-lookup is a plus)
