The Gene Synthesis & Cloning Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) is responsible for driving sales across the molecular cloning continuum with a primary focus on GeneArt Gene Synthesis and GeneArt Cloning Services. This role partners with researchers to understand their experimental goals and recommend the most appropriate combination of gene synthesis services, cloning workflows, enzymes, competent cells, PCR reagents, and related molecular biology solutions.
Supporting customers across New England and the east coast, you will work closely with Account Managers and cross-functional commercial partners to develop opportunities, expand customer workflows, and position Thermo Fisher as a trusted scientific partner. Ideal location to reside is Boston, Philly, NJ, DC metro areas.
You're passionate about helping scientists solve challenging molecular biology problems and enjoy combining technical expertise with consultative selling. You thrive in a collaborative, field-based environment where building long-term customer relationships is just as important as achieving sales goals.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $113,000.00–$150,000.00.
