About the role

We are currently looking for a Gender/Social Development Specialist who has prior experience of working on large-scale, complex infrastructure projects. The role is primarily responsible for monitoring the safeguards , implement gender activities, and report on social compliance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review contractor-prepared designs to ensure social, gender, and environmental considerations are incorporated.

  • Monitor safeguards, implement gender activities, and report on social compliance.

  • Review contractor-prepared designs for project buildings and facilities to ensure social, gender, and environmental considerations are incorporated.

  • Assess potential social and community impacts of construction activities and coordinate with authorities before construction.

  • Contribute to reports documenting design compliance, including recommendations for modifications or variation orders when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science

  • Min. 10 years of professional experience

  • Min. 8 years in social and gender activities
