About the department

For the Marketing Operations department within Communications & Marketing at the HENSOLDT Group, we are looking for a GenAI Enablement Manager – Communications & Marketing (f/m/d) to join us at our Ulm site as soon as possible.

Communications & Marketing shapes how HENSOLDT is perceived and supports the strategic development of the company. Generative AI opens up new opportunities for us to make content, research processes and workflows more effective, faster and smarter.

In this newly created role, you will build and continuously develop GenAI capability across Communications & Marketing. You will combine a sound understanding of communications and marketing with practical GenAI expertise and translate business requirements into specific applications, workflows and solutions.

This also includes establishing structured knowledge management for Communications & Marketing. Relevant information and approved sources are to be organised and made accessible so that they can provide reliable context for GenAI applications.

You will work across functions with Marketing, Communications, Brand and the Events & Exhibitions department, as well as with IT, Data Protection, Legal and Information Security.

Your tasks

• Build and continuously develop GenAI capability and the tool landscape across Communications & Marketing
• Identify, assess and prioritise relevant GenAI use cases and turn successful approaches into scalable applications
• Introduce and continuously develop a cross-functional GenAI platform for Communications & Marketing at HENSOLDT
• Hands-on design and implementation of prompts, assistants, workflows, simple automations and prototypes
• Derive practical rules for Communications & Marketing from the Group-wide AI governance framework and represent the function’s specific requirements on the relevant Governance Board
• Develop and deliver training and enablement formats for colleagues across Communications & Marketing – from the fundamentals of prompting to advanced and agent-based workflows
• Build collections of best practices, prompt libraries, use case playbooks and formats for sharing knowledge within the function
• Establish and continuously develop structured knowledge management for Communications & Marketing as the basis for reliable, context-aware GenAI applications
• Advise teams on advanced GenAI applications and ensure quality, brand consistency and content reliability
• Monitor relevant technological developments and assess their potential applications within Communications & Marketing
• Measure the adoption, productivity gains, impact and maturity of the GenAI applications introduced

Your profile

• A degree in communications or marketing or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in communications, marketing, media or a comparable environment
• Extensive practical experience with generative AI and a good understanding of relevant applications in communications and marketing
• Confident use of leading LLM applications and experience in prompt engineering, AI-supported workflows, assistants or automations
• Ability to translate business requirements into suitable technical solutions and independently implement initial applications or prototypes
• Experience in explaining new technologies, delivering training or supporting change and implementation processes
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data protection, information security and the handling of sensitive information
• Experience in knowledge management, content governance or structuring large volumes of information would be an advantage
• Strong communication and advisory skills, with enthusiasm for working with a range of different functions
• Hands-on approach, strong conceptual skills and a high degree of initiative and self-organisation
• Native-level German and business-fluent English
