We are the world's leading strategy consultancy with European roots. Together with our clients, we develop and implement innovative solutions for leading international industrial and service companies as well as public institutions. We are currently expanding our capabilities through the Roland Berger AI Lab – focused on developing scalable Generative AI applications that unlock tangible business value for both our clients and ourselves.
As a GenAI Consulting Intern, you will be embedded in cross-functional teams alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Consultants. You will contribute from day one to both client-facing projects and internal AI initiatives. You will design and implement scalable GenAI solutions that address complex business challenges while ensuring seamless integration into the existing processes and organizational structures. You will work with cutting-edge LLMs and agentic frameworks, maintaining thorough documentation.
Leveraging programming languages such as Python, platforms including Databricks, and agentic frameworks like LangGraph and Google ADK, you will design and implement multimodal agentic systems to streamline and automate workflow processes.
You will also establish the necessary tooling and infrastructure for deploying AI models on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. In addition, you will support data integration efforts by utilizing knowledge graphs and play a key role in developing customized Small Language Models (SLMs) for specific business needs through fine-tuning.
Beyond the technical build, you will support the business side of C-level strategy consulting, focusing on topics centered around Generative AI. This work is driven by a goal-oriented, customer-centric, and data-driven approach. Clear communication is key. You will support the team in presenting your findings to stakeholders and clients, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
We especially encourage women and individuals from underrepresented backgrounds to apply. We believe diverse perspectives drive innovation and better outcomes - for our clients, our team, and society.
