As a Gen AI Tech Lead, you will oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of Generative AI applications while providing technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams. You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring AI solutions are scalable, effective, and aligned with strategic objectives.

• Lead the implementation and launch of LLM-powered applications, applying expertise from previous Generative AI projects.
• Design and develop solutions using technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, Django, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, Azure App Service, and GCP services.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth collaboration, delivery, and technical alignment.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance across backend development, AI integration, and application architecture.
• Mentor onshore and offshore engineering teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Act as a technical advisor by identifying challenges, recommending best practices, and driving problem resolution.
• Optimize Generative AI implementations to improve application performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Stay current with advancements in AI technologies, LLM capabilities, and emerging industry practices.
• Partner with other technical leaders to maintain alignment with architecture standards and organizational goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced AI technology leader with a strong background in developing LLM-based applications and leading complex engineering initiatives. You should combine deep technical expertise with strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership abilities.

• Proven experience implementing and launching Language Model (LLM) applications in production environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, Azure App Service, Django, and cloud platforms such as GCP.
• Solid background in backend engineering with experience designing scalable applications and services.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to contribute to user-focused application development.
• Previous experience leading technical teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills with the ability to build collaborative engineering environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, applications, and real-world implementation challenges.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving AI technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
