GE Proficy Consultant (Plant Applications & Historian)

We are looking for a skilled GE Proficy Consultant with 4–6 years of experience in manufacturing and MES support. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining Proficy Plant Applications and Historian systems, along with troubleshooting and SQL-based backend support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support for GE Proficy Plant Applications and Historian
• Perform configuration and maintenance of PlantApps and Historian systems
• Work on PlantApps configuration, database handling, and Historian configuration
• Develop and debug SQL queries and stored procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring system stability
• Support integration with ERP systems
• Work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment as part of a support team
• Analyze issues, debug systems, and provide timely resolution

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4–6 years of experience in Manufacturing/MES domain
• Hands-on experience with:

• GE Proficy Plant Applications (Version 7 or higher)
• GE Proficy Historian (Version 5 or higher)
  • Strong experience in application support and configuration
  • Mandatory experience in SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Debugging, Queries)
  • Experience in ERP integration
  • Good understanding of MES concepts and manufacturing processes
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (24×7 support)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Programming knowledge in C#, .NET, ASP.NET
• Familiarity with MES domain terminologies
• Understanding of ISA-95 standards
• Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) domain
