Job Summary

The GDS SAP Alliance Operations Specialist will operate from the GDS Alliances Program Operations CoE and help enable the strategic EY–SAP alliance through disciplined operations, business intelligence, financial and commercial reporting, partner program administration, and executive-ready insights. As the alliance scales across geographies, sectors, SAP solution areas, go-to-market priorities, investments, co-sell motions and market activation programs, this Assistant Director-level role will establish consistent operating rhythms, strengthen governance and data quality, and provide leadership with timely visibility into revenue, sales, pipeline, opportunities, investments, enablement and alliance performance.

The role will partner closely with SAP alliance leadership, Finance, Sales, Markets, regional and solution teams, and other EY ecosystem stakeholders to translate complex operational and financial information into clear performance narratives, risks, recommendations and actions. Business-level familiarity with SAP’s technology portfolio and product lines—including SAP S/4HANA and Cloud ERP, RISE with SAP, SAP Business Technology Platform, data and analytics, business AI, and major line-of-business solutions—will enable the successful candidate to understand alliance priorities, interpret market activity and engage stakeholders with greater context; hands-on technical implementation expertise is not required. The role will also drive continuous process improvement, simplification and intelligent automation by identifying high-value use cases for approved Agentic AI capabilities, redesigning workflows, reducing repetitive manual effort and enabling faster, more consistent and efficient execution across the EY–SAP alliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP alliance operating rhythms, reporting governance and business review cadences, ensuring clear ownership, consistent metric definitions, disciplined action tracking, escalation paths and leadership visibility.
• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance, including revenue, sales, pipeline, forecasts, opportunity progression, investment utilization and performance variances.
• Own executive-ready reports, scorecards, dashboards and insight packs for the EY–SAP alliance, converting complex data into concise performance narratives, business implications and recommended actions.
• Produce tailored revenue, sales and pipeline visualizations and analyses; track prospects, priority opportunities and key wins; and support accurate SAP alliance tagging and opportunity management.
• Facilitate EY internal governance meetings and meetings with SAP by developing agendas and content, coordinating logistics, preparing leadership materials, capturing decisions and driving action closure.
• Administer SAP partner tools, portals and operational processes, including access requests, issue resolution, certification and competency tracking, user guidance and maintenance of reliable partner-program records.
• Develop and maintain a business-level understanding of SAP’s portfolio, product positioning and transformation propositions so that alliance reporting, opportunity tracking, governance materials and leadership insights reflect relevant SAP solution areas and market priorities; this is a commercial and operational expectation rather than a hands-on technical delivery responsibility.
• Coordinate with investment, legal, finance and contracts stakeholders on market development funds, co-investment activities, agreement localization, reimbursement support, compliance reviews and related controls.
• Maintain SharePoint repositories, reporting calendars, reference materials, SOPs, governance logs and version-controlled knowledge assets to support continuity, audit readiness and consistent global execution.
• Drive continuous improvement by mapping workflows, removing duplication, standardizing inputs, strengthening quality checks and building scalable handoffs across the SAP alliance operating model.
• Translate continuous improvement opportunities into practical Agentic AI and automation use cases by assessing current-state processes, challenging unnecessary steps, redesigning handoffs, defining human-in-the-loop controls, measuring productivity gains and scaling reusable solutions across SAP alliance workflows.
• Advance the digital transformation of SAP alliance operations through Power BI, SQL, Power Query, Power Automate and approved Agentic AI capabilities. Identify and prioritize opportunities where AI agents can simplify workflows, coordinate routine activities, automate repetitive tasks, validate and reconcile data, generate reporting commentary, trigger alerts, support action tracking and improve end-to-end process efficiency while maintaining appropriate human oversight, governance, security and quality controls.
• Partner with onshore alliance enablement contacts on strategic projects, dashboard enhancements, ad hoc analysis and operational risks while managing stakeholder expectations, priorities and communications.
• Guide junior contributors or shared delivery resources by clarifying priorities, reviewing outputs, reinforcing quality standards and enabling timely delivery.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Strong understanding of alliance or partner operations, sales and pipeline management, revenue reporting, opportunity lifecycles, partner-program administration and governance.
• Commercial and analytical acumen to interpret financial and operational results, identify trends and variances, assess risks and convert findings into decision-ready recommendations.
• Ability to design and operate KPI frameworks, reporting cadences, scorecards, dashboards, trackers and executive business-review materials.
• Business-level knowledge of SAP’s enterprise technology ecosystem and product lines is highly beneficial, including awareness of SAP S/4HANA and Cloud ERP, RISE with SAP, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP HANA, data and analytics offerings, business AI and leading line-of-business solutions such as SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur and Customer Experience. The role does not require configuration, implementation or solution-architecture expertise.
• Ability to connect SAP products and solution areas to client transformation themes, industry priorities, go-to-market motions and alliance opportunities, and to use that context when preparing reports, dashboards, business reviews and stakeholder communications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; hands-on capability in Power BI, Power Query and data visualization; familiarity with SQL, Power Automate, SharePoint and workflow tools strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to apply approved Agentic AI and AI-enabled productivity tools to continuous process improvement, simplification and automation—particularly to orchestrate routine workflows, reduce repetitive effort, improve data quality, accelerate insight generation and enable more efficient ways of working with appropriate human oversight.
• Experience in continuous improvement, process mapping, SOP development, automation, controls, audit readiness and operational excellence within a GCC/GBS or shared-services environment.
• Ability to evaluate Agentic AI opportunities based on business value, process suitability, risk and feasibility; define clear objectives, guardrails, exception paths and success measures; and support responsible adoption through testing, documentation, change management and user enablement.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior onshore leaders, alliance stakeholders, Finance, Sales, Markets and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, project and workstream management, prioritization, risk mitigation, action management and escalation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, including the ability to create concise executive updates, business narratives, decision notes, SOPs and stakeholder-ready presentations independently.
• Global mindset, cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across geographies, time zones and virtual teams while managing multiple priorities with limited supervision.
• Ability to foster knowledge sharing, develop reusable practices and maintain high standards of quality, confidentiality and delivery discipline.

Organizational knowledge: Understanding of EY and GDS structures, processes and operating models is advantageous for internal candidates; external candidates should demonstrate relevant Big Four, professional services, consulting, technology, alliance or strategic business-operations experience.

To Qualify for the Role:

Academics:

• University degree required; qualification in business, finance, analytics, technology, engineering, management, commerce or a related discipline preferred.
• MBA, postgraduate qualification or equivalent certification in business analytics, finance, project or program management, process improvement, automation or technology would be an advantage.
• Relevant certifications or learning in Power BI, advanced Excel, Power Platform, project management, Lean Six Sigma, data analytics, AI fundamentals, Agentic AI, responsible AI, workflow automation, SAP ecosystem concepts or introductory SAP product and technology learning are desirable.

Experience

• 12+ years of relevant experience in alliance or partner operations, sales operations, financial or commercial reporting, business intelligence, analytics, program management, growth operations, process improvement or strategic operations.
• Demonstrated experience supporting senior stakeholders and global, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed GCC/GBS, professional services, consulting, technology, ecosystem or shared-services environment.
• Experience producing executive dashboards, business-review packs, revenue and pipeline reports, partner-program trackers, governance updates and performance narratives. Experience working with CRM, pipeline, partner portals, certification, investment, funding, campaign or business-performance data, including remediation of data-quality issues with source owners.
• Experience supporting SAP, enterprise technology alliances or partner ecosystem programs is strongly preferred. Candidates with business-facing exposure to SAP products, solution portfolios, partner programs, cloud transformation propositions or SAP go-to-market activities will be particularly well suited; deep technical or implementation experience is not mandatory.
