GDS Consulting _AIA Senior AI & Automation Engineer

The Senior AI & Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement automations, dashboards, and AI solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data visibility, and build long-term automation capability. This role is designed for an experienced professional who can bridge business operations and technical execution.

• Automation Design and Delivery: Design and implement automation solutions for internal/external clients to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual touchpoints.
• Engineering and Tools: Develop automation solutions using any RPA Platforms (UiPath, BluePrism, Power Automate Desktop), Python-based automations, API integration, document parsing, and task automation.
• Prioritization and Partnership: Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and scope high-impact automation and AI opportunities.
• Standards and Governance: Establish and enforce standards for documentation, version control, integration patterns, testing, and deployment.
• Enablement and Knowledge Transfer: Train and mentor internal teams on Power Platform, UiPath or BluePrism automation best practices, and safe and responsible use of AI/LLM tools.

Requirements and skills:

• AI and Automation Tools: Familiarity with Top 3 RPA Platforms (UiPath, BluePrism, Power Automate Desktop and AI/LLM tools for process automation and document parsing; experience applying them to real business workflows.
• ERP Integrations: Proven experience integrating multiple ERP systems and third-party applications.
• Python Proficiency: Proficient in Python for ETL, API integration, scripting, and automation.
• Power Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Logic Apps, Co-pilot Studio.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ability to translate technical tradeoffs to business leaders and drive cross-functional alignment.
