Job Description

Responsibilities: `We are establishing a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad to support our company’s digitalization initiatives. As part of this strategic expansion, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Finance, Controlling & Tax Manager to manage all financial operations, statutory compliance, and tax-related matters for the GCC. This is a critical role requiring a self-driven professional who can independently handle end-to-end finance and compliance responsibilities. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Management • Oversee all financial operations for the GCC, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and corporate standards. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements. • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. 2. Controlling & Reporting • Develop and maintain cost control systems to monitor operational expenses. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for corporate headquarters. • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management. • Support digitalization projects with cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations. • Ensure compliance with corporate reporting standards and timelines. 3. Taxation & Compliance • Manage all direct and indirect tax obligations, including GST, income tax, and withholding tax. • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to statutory deadlines. • Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants for audits and assessments. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments. • Handle transfer pricing documentation and compliance for intercompany transactions. 4. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, labor laws, and other applicable regulations. • Coordinate statutory audits and internal audits; address audit observations promptly. • Maintain accurate records for regulatory inspections and filings. 5. Treasury & Banking • Manage banking relationships and ensure smooth operations for payments and collections. • Oversee foreign exchange transactions and compliance with FEMA regulations. • Implement efficient cash management strategies. 6. Risk Management • Manage Credit Risks • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies. • Ensure compliance with corporate risk management policies. 7. Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary finance contact for corporate headquarters and local authorities. • Collaborate with HR, procurement, and operations teams for financial support and guidance. 8. Further aspects • Represent the Finance, Controlling and Tax function on the company’s Steering Team. • Liaise with relevant functional counterparts in our central Controlling & Finance organization in Germany as well as in our other GCCs. • Drive improvements for processes relevant to the Finance, Controlling and Tax function. Qualifications: `• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA). • Experience: Minimum 6–8 years in finance, controlling, and taxation roles, preferably in multinational or GCC environments. • Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and corporate reporting standards. • Expertise in direct Internal and indirect taxation, including GST and transfer pricing. • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and digital finance tools. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. • Strategic thinking with attention to detail. • Strong ethical standards and integrity. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, digital-first environment. • Proactive and self-motivated with leadership qualities.
