
Your Key Responsibilities
• Application Ownership & Support
o Advise and support BASF employees in the use of Windows workplace applications.
o Analyze major incidents and recurring issues and implement sustainable, long term solutions within the IT landscape.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
o Work closely with internal departments such as Procurement and Global License Management.
o Provide expert input and actively contribute to, or lead, cross functional and international projects.
• Service Provider Management
o Coordinate and steer external service providers.
o Ensure high service quality, continuous improvement, and professional complaint management.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement
o Drive the development and introduction of new solutions and technologies together with external partners.
o Identify improvement potential and proactively contribute to the digital workplace strategy.
• Service & Process Excellence
o Design, implement, and continuously optimize support and service processes.
o Monitor service performance based on agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
o Prepare reports and initiate improvement measures to ensure high user satisfaction.

What You Offer
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
or
at least 5 years of professional experience in a workplace or IT application environment.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Strong experience in application management and IT support delivery.
• Practical knowledge of IT service management tools and frameworks, such as:
o ServiceNow
o ITIL framework
• Experience in steering external support providers, including quality management and service improvement.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a clear focus on delivering an excellent user experience.
• A self starter mindset with the ability to work independently.
• High motivation for continuous learning and personal development.
