
Purpose:
Provideprogrammaticand logistical support for newstudentand family programs within the Department of Welcome Programs.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
Assistwith creating, coordinating, and implementinglogisticsfor events and activities
Assistwith creating, coordinating, and implementing curricula andprograms
Provideoperational,task-oriented support for all programs, events, and activities
Networkand collaboratewithother GCUdepartments,partners, and students
Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant systems, platforms, and resources to aid in managing organizational details
Support daily office functions and administrativetasks, including answeringphone callsand emails
Otherduties as assigned

Qualifications:
Experience and interest in event planning andorcurriculum development
Excellent written and oral communication, as well as interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail
Desire to learn new skills andabilityto take and receive direction from staff
Ability to balance multiple tasks at one time and take initiative of responsibilities
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
