In your role as the GCS (Gas & Chemical Systems) Contractor Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas and chemical supply systems at the Taylor site through our contractors.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the readiness and capabilities of each GCS contractor in operating and maintaining all equipment. This includes implementing continuous improvement processes to drive world-class operations and ensure that contractors are equipped to meet safety and performance standards.

You will collaborate with contractors, GCS engineering, and internal teams to develop and maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Non-Standard Work Plans (NSWP), and other Samsung business processes, fostering a culture of excellence and operational integrity.

You'll also work to ensure that each contractor meets headcount expectations and maintains a well-trained, competent workforce capable of delivering high-quality results; and you will coordinate with project teams to develop and execute initiatives aimed at expanding capacity, enhancing safety, and improving reliability in material supply.

Working closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, you will champion equipment performance improvements and ensure adherence to world-class safety standards. Your leadership will drive the delivery of best-in-class results, making you a cornerstone of operational excellence at the Taylor site.

  • Contractor Training Compliance.

  • Contractor Safety.

  • Contractor SOP development.

  • Contractor Compliance with SAS rules & policies.

  • Communication with Infra and GCS leadership on contractor status.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to drive / manage contractor SOP development to ensure operational readiness.

  • Safety mindset / Ensure contractor compliance with SAS standards.

  • Clear written and presentation skills.

  • Excel & Confluence proficiency.
