The expected salary for this position: 9600 - 22000 PLN

The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.

We are looking for you, if you:

  • 2+ years of experience/knowledge with GCP,
  • have an Infrastructure as Code mindset (we use Terraform with Azure DevOps pipelines)
  • have experience with public cloud (preferably GCP) and have built platforms using managed services such as GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Dataproc, GCS
  • can program in Python or Go
  • have hands-on experience with monitoring logging and alerting
  • understand secure authentication and encryption concepts (e.g. OIDC, KMS, SSL/TLS)
  • can clearly express ideas and elaborate complex concepts through design documents and discussions
  • speak English at B2 level or above.


You'll get extra points for:

  • experience with distributed computing and large‑scale data processing on GCP
  • contributions to open‑source projects
  • ability to optimize code and infrastructure
  • “automate‑everything” mindset.


Your responsibilities:

  • designing building and maintaining ING’s Data Analytics Platform on GCP,
  • supporting platform tenants and ensuring smooth onboarding,
  • maintaining and improving key platform components,
  • contributing to platform architecture and experimenting with new technologies,
  • developing cloud‑ready and IaC-based solutions,
  • ensuring proper monitoring and alerting for all platform services,
  • participating in on‑call support to maintain platform reliability,
  • collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable secure and cost‑efficient solutions.


Information about the squad:

We are building ING’s next‑generation Data Analytics Platform on Google Cloud. As a GCP Platform Engineer you’ll join a multinational multi‑cultural team delivering scalable secure and automated cloud solutions that enable data scientists and analysts across ING to build high‑impact products.

You will work with cutting‑edge cloud technologies contribute to the platform architecture and help shape the future of ING’s data ecosystem.

You will join a highly skilled distributed team using agile lean and design‑thinking principles to build ING’s global Data Analytics Platform on Google Cloud.
We value innovation autonomy and experimentation. You’ll work with modern technologies solve complex problems and help shape the architectural foundations that enable ING to be more data‑driven.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
