Job Description

Mission Details

Lead regional market intelligence, integrating internal/external data to deliver quarterly reports on market trends, opportunities, value chain, and competition.

Develop and execute a 5-year growth roadmap across 3 BUs (UV/3D, Coating Resins, Additives) and 3 markets (B&C, Industrial, High-growth: electronics/batteries/data centers), defining annual Top NBD priorities.

Ensure pipeline vitality aligned with 5-year roadmap; collaborate with Sales & R&D to define and track Y+1 Top NBD projects, achieving annual NBD/NPD growth targets.

Lead market action plans (target customers, NBD/NPD 5-year plans), align with account plans (2.0), and participate in global NBD portfolio reviews.

Develop differentiated local offers in line with global strategy; create best-in-class customer decks with the Communications Manager.

Build local sustainable offers and empower the team for proactive customer promotion.

Oversee external communications and promotional initiatives aligned with the 5-year growth plan; monitor KPIs (e.g., media leadership) to assess performance.

Manage a team of 3-5 direct reports; allocate resources for efficient strategy execution. Establish regular cross-functional meetings (Sales, R&D, Digital Communications) to manage NBD/NPD pipeline and resource allocation.

Required Profile

  • Experience Minimum 5 years of proven track record in business development, marketing, or technical service within the chemical industry.
  • Market Knowledge Solid understanding of coatings, batteries, electronics, building & construction, and industrial sectors; basic insight into application-related technical issues.
  • Education Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Language Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Core Competencies
    • Ability to compile, summarize, and analyze sales data.
    • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
    • Skilled in market analysis and presentation.
    • Proven project and people management experience (having led a team of 3-5).
    • Adaptive to multicultural behaviors and able to build strong working relationships with Sales and R&D teams
