Job Description

NOV is seeking a Transition Analyst to support Shared Services transition and transformation activities across the Americas region. Based in Monterrey, this role will support governance, reporting, operational readiness, and process transition initiatives tied to the expansion and stabilization of Shared Services operations.

The Transition Analyst partners closely with functional stakeholders, operational teams, and transition leadership to support project execution, issue management, reporting, and process standardization efforts. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancement opportunities, participating in solution development, and coordinating implementation activities as needed to improve operational effectiveness.

This role provides significant exposure to global transformation initiatives and offers growth opportunities within NOV’s evolving Shared Services organization.

  • Support transition planning and execution activities across Shared Services initiatives.
  • Coordinate action items, project timelines, and governance deliverables.
  • Assist with tracking transition milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support communication and coordination between operational teams and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain transition documentation and project repositories.
  • Prepare recurring governance reports, dashboards, KPI summaries, and executive presentations.
  • Support leadership reporting and transition status updates.
  • Assist with maintaining governance standards, templates, and controls.
  • Monitor action item closure and escalation tracking.
  • Assist with SOP documentation, process mapping, and knowledge transfer tracking.
  • Support operational readiness and stabilization activities.
  • Coordinate training schedules and onboarding activities for transitioning teams.
  • Assist with post-go-live issue management and follow-up.
  • Analyze transition and operational data to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation and tracking of approved process improvement actions.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and transformation projects.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in shared services, PMO support, project coordination, operations, or business transformation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred

  • Experience in shared services or global business operations.
  • Exposure to multiple value streams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience with reporting tools and dashboard development.
  • Lean or continuous improvement experience.
