As GBS RTR Manufacturing Analyst, you will support accurate and timely accounting for manufacturing operations within the Record-to-Report (RTR) process. You will manage cost centre postings, validate production variances, reconcile inventory accounts, and ensure compliance with global policies and standards.
Your day-to-day includes analysing manufacturing costs, preparing journal entries for production and inventory movements, and maintaining audit-ready documentation. You will work closely with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Perform accounting for manufacturing operations, including cost centre postings and production variances
Prepare and post journals for inventory movements and production costs
Reconcile inventory and manufacturing-related accounts, investigating variances
Maintain audit-ready documentation for manufacturing accounting activities
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting
Support standardisation and automation initiatives to improve efficiency
Ensure adherence to internal controls and global accounting standards
1–4 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, or RTR processes (shared services/global exposure preferred)
Working knowledge of inventory accounting, production variances, and cost centre reporting
Familiarity with intercompany eliminations and group reporting requirements
Proficiency with ERP and consolidation tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, BPC, HFM, or similar) and strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots)
Understanding of internal controls, audit readiness, and documentation standards
Analytical problem-solving with high attention to detail and dependable time management across recurring deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication for workpaper narratives and reporting support
