Global Banking & Markets (GBM) is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, GBM provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation.
GBM span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.
Client On-Boarding (COB) team supports onboarding and refresh processes across a wide range of business areas and products in order to be compliant with diverse (e.g. MiFID II, AML/KYC) regulations.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Transition the EMEA onboarding journey from a fragmented, reactive process into a structured, transparent, and data-driven client experience.
- Helping to transform the teams towards our new target operating model ensuring our front to back Onboarding experience (across different functions) and Onboarding Client journey in EMEA is excellent
- Drive the adoption of new AI tools and automated workflows across regional operations teams, ensuring minimal disruption to business-as-usual activities
- Identifying, defining and enhancing process efficiencies which will benefit Client Onboarding in EMEA and globally
- Design and implement structured AI interaction flows and agent-assist tools for document processing, case triage, entity data extraction, and automated client communications
- Satisfying the responsibility for completing detailed reviews of documentation for new and existing clients, including legal agreements and organizational documents
- Diagnose operational bottlenecks, establish strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and leverage predictive analytics to identify drop-off points before they impact revenue realization
- Become commercially aware and understand the nature of the business you are involved in while at the same time ensuring all Goldman Sachs KYC standards are constantly being met.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of transformation program managers and business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ownership.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required
- 12+ years of relevant experience in a fast pace strongly regulated environment, AML/KYC operations
- Proven ability to manage projects, team and lead people, including team leads, preferably across multiple locations
- Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
- Solid experience in process and control simplification
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure, manage high volumes, and collaborate with a global team while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Business Intelligence/Transformation Experience
